Something to ponder

Bismillah

I've been watch Fireproof again. Just nice to see and think how a marriage being saved from a very thiny way by Caleb's father.  Something to learn on the interaction and communication between a couple of husband and wife. And of course, at the end, we shoud come back to the nature, which the One and the Only who give the strength to overcome all those things. The Almighty. =)

I'm not married yet, but inshaAllah looking forward for it. Allah knows better the most suitable time for us, right?

Just something to ponder, those quotes from some scenes, always make my mind spinning and  thinking. Those words are meaningful to me..

If the temptation arises, choose not to say anything. It's better to hold your tongue than to say something you'll regret.

Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry.

"When a man is trying to win the heart of a woman, he studies her. He learns her likes, dislikes, habits, and hobbies. But after he wins her heart and marries her, he often stops learning about her. If the amount he learn about her before marriage was equal to a highschool degree, he should continue to learn about her until he gains a college degree, a master's degree and ultimately, a doctorate degree. It is a lifelong journey that draws his heart ever closer to hers"

Sound interesting right? ^^

And the part that I concerns and learn from that, which is Honour to Your self ! Don't  talk about honour to your partner if there is no honour at all to you own.

What Catherine (Caleb's wife) was true. Indeed.

"What was on the computer screen was honourable? When you are alone, that's was you default to and there is nothing honourable about! " (Caleb's watch some sorts of ....)

And another part which I prefer to :

"How can someone show love over and over gain when they're constantly rejected?

and Caleb's father reply:

"It's not because I'll get some reward out of it. God loves you eventhough you don't deserve it. Eventhough you rejected Him. Spat in His face"

Oh. How touched..

And this is something to ponder. Deeper.

Watch Out for Parasites

A parasites is anything that latches onto you or your partner and sucks the life of your marriage. They usually in the form of addiction like gambling, drugs and pornography.

They promise pleasure, but they grow like a disease and consume more and more of your thoughts, time and money.

They steal away your loyalty and heart from those you love. Marriages rarely survive if parasites are present.

If you love your wife, you must destroy any addictions that has your heart. If you don't, it will destroy you!

And the words given by Caleb's bestfriend:

"And don't just follow  your heart, because your heart can be deceived , but you got LEAD your heart "

That was so inspiring film. Alhamdullilah. May we reflect it to our "work" and at any situation in our daily life.

P/s : Ya Allah, tarbiyahkanlah kami dengan apa jua cara yang Kau sukai. Amin ya rabb.
